A Meeting with Robots

I had a meeting today at Anybots in preparation for a session on “Crowdsourcing, Meet Robotics…” with Elance for the GigaOM Net:Work event on December 8th.
There were five participants, two of us were in person, two were attending through Anybots robots, and one via phone in. One of the things I realized was it was easy to give the other person in the room attention and do the visual check, but I was also giving those physically present in robot form similar attention. Oddly, it was the person on the phone I was losing in the mix to some degree. The physical presence of the robots triggered rather natural responses and keeping them in mind for inclusion and looking for feedback.
